The role of the nurse practitioner in primary care continues to expand, and with that expansion come new expectations of skills and responsibilities in our practice. This program is designed with the primary care nurse practitioner in mind.
- Acquire a systematic approach to assessing the 12-lead ECG.
- Learn to identify the critical electrocardiogram changes seen in myocardial ischemia, injury and infarct to help you with your assessment of the person at-risk-for or with cardiovascular disease.
- Recognize common ECG alterations. This program features an interactive format, allowing you to follow along with the audience as the ECG tracings are interpreted. The optional post-test will help you to confirm your new skills.
This course provides 2.4 of the 30 continuing emergency care education hours in emergency care procedural skills required to sit for the AANPCB Emergency NP Exam under ENP Option 1.
